Microsoft’s Azure Container Service supports DC / OS and Docker Swarm orchestration technologies. Both are open source. The move is said to make it easier for Microsoft to move workloads across multiple clouds or own servers. To underline its commitment to the field, Microsoft also joins the DC / OS Open Source Project.
Microsoft now provides the cloud service Azure Container Service (ACS) for free. It can be used to create and manage clusters of virtual machines. It also makes it easier to control containerized applications, making it easier to aggregate and control isolated applications, along with all drivers and files.
